Firstly, may I thank all our agency partners and teams for all their assistance and hard work without which we could not have provided our high standards of service. If our service levels ever dipped this was due to unprecedented demands and challenges which we all faced, please accept my sincere thanks for your patience and understanding.
ADVANCE have built an infrastructure which enables us to deal with legislative changes, market developments and challenges which are out of our control. We have been able to react, be flexible & deal with the coronavirus hitting the recruitment sector at force. ADVANCE have dealt with all the challenges in the same way we always do, we have worked closely with our key advisors, let our systems take the strain, continued to automate, whilst investing in our people to “do the right thing.”
ADVANCE were amongst the first to pay umbrella employees furlough payments. We also led the way with the calculation of pay to our umbrella employees. It is based on 80% of average gross pay which included bonus/additional pay. Many other providers based pay on national minimum wage. We could do this because our contracts were correctly worded and reflected the actual reality of how an umbrella employee is remunerated.
Our client relationship managers have focused on regular updates with agencies and have rolled their sleeves up by speaking to contractors to letting them know, we are here to help! Our PSC/limited company team have been available on the phone, or email and responded quickly to ensure our levels of service remain at the highest level.
We are continuing to invest in the future of our staff and our infrastructure, building for the future and further legislative changes ahead. We are investing in systems, our offices, and our communication channels. Despite all the uncertainty we have committed to moving to new premises to help manage our continued growth (more news to be released shortly when we sign the lease!).
