Here are a few of our most frequently asked questions about working at ADVANCE.
Partnering with ADVANCE streamlines your payroll operations, mitigates financial risk, and reduces administrative overheads. By outsourcing employment responsibilities, your agency no longer needs to manage complex payroll calculations, holiday pay accruals, or workplace pension contributions for temporary workers.
For your contractors, it provides “Employment Overarching Contracts,” granting them full statutory employment rights (such as sick pay, maternity/paternity pay, and continuous employment history) while they move between assignments. This ultimately boosts candidate retention and allows your consultants to focus entirely on sourcing talent.
We understand that speed is critical in the fast-paced temporary labour market. Our dedicated onboarding team allows contractors to register, complete Right to Work (RTW) checks, submit compliance documentation, and sign employment contracts in a flash.
Once an agency submits the assignment details, our specialist onboarding team triggers the process immediately, ensuring your candidates are fully compliant and ready to start their placement without delaying your client’s project timelines.
We manage all statutory allocations transparently and in strict accordance with UK employment law. Holiday pay is calculated at the standard statutory rate (typically 12.07% of the assignment rate) and can either be accrued in a secure fund and paid out when the worker takes time off, or advanced to the worker when they are paid weekly/monthly, depending on the contractor’s preference and contract terms, all of which is broken down on your payslips in line with the Employee Rights Act 2025.
For pensions, eligible temporary workers are automatically enrolled into a qualifying workplace pension scheme after the standard postponement period, with both employer and employee contributions processed seamlessly via payroll.
