In fact, we think our track record on compliance is unrivalled in the industry. Here is a summary of our current accreditations, partnerships and affiliations.
The Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA) is the leading trade organisation for our industry. ADVANCE was the first provider with FCSA accreditation for umbrella company, limited company and self-employment solutions, and continues to be FCSA accredited across all three solutions.
Accredited members such as ADVANCE are independently reviewed against a rigorous code of compliance on an annual basis by FCSA-approved assessors – independent experts who are professionally regulated accountants and solicitors.
The review is evidence-based and a copy is sent to HMRC for full transparency.
At ADVANCE, we are dedicated to ensuring that all our employees and subcontractors are paid accurately, compliantly, and in accordance with HMRC regulations. To provide our employees and subcontractors with additional peace of mind, all payslips are audited by an independent third-party auditor, SafeRec.
Through their auditing platform, Payslip Buddy, SafeRec thoroughly audit all payslips each pay period verifying full compliance with HMRC and ensuring the accuracy of all payments. Following each audit, our employees and subcontractors receive a detailed report via email from payslipbuddy.co.uk, confirming the compliance of their payment.
This auditing service is completely free of charge for our employees and subcontractors. We believe this added layer of transparency further demonstrates our commitment to diligence, compliance, and the financial well-being of our employees and subcontractors.
Since adding this additional layer of auditing, it has continued to provide our employees and subcontractors with an extra level of peace of mind knowing that ADVANCE continually adhere to the highest level of compliance, transparency and accuracy.
The IASME Consortium is a government-recognised accreditation body offering companies a certification route to demonstrate that they have prepared for the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The IASME GDPR readiness assessment incorporates all 12 of the GDPR preparation steps recommended by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), which will be responsible for enforcement in the UK.
Following an assessment, ADVANCE achieved the IASME Governance Standard in early 2018. Click here to read our press release.
Our IASME accreditation includes Cyber Essentials certification.
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves from cyber attacks, minimising the risk of hacks and other IT security breaches.
Since October 2014, Cyber Essentials has been a minimum requirement for bidding for some government contracts.
To achieve Cyber Essentials accreditation, ADVANCE had to demonstrate that we meet five key security controls. The IASME Consortium is one of just five certified Cyber Essentials accreditation bodies.
