ADVANCE has successfully retained its status as the UK’s only contracting solutions provider with Freelancer & Contractor Services Association (FCSA) accreditation for umbrella employment, limited company accounting and self-employment / CIS.
The company completed its annual compliance review for all three solutions in late December.
Conducted independently by regulated accountants and solicitors, the assessment process included completion of the FCSA code of compliance.
ADVANCE was required to undergo on-site testing to demonstrate the day-to-day reality of business activities and produce detailed supporting evidence.
All documentation covered in the review was submitted to HMRC to ensure full transparency.
FCSA chief executive Julia Kermode said:
Based on the findings of the assessment process, I’m pleased to confirm that ADVANCE is providing employment, self-employment and accountancy solutions to the required levels of compliance.
The company is operating to the required professional financial and ethical standards to continue as a fully-accredited FCSA member.
I would like to congratulate ADVANCE on this achievement. Our assessment process is rigorous and wide-ranging, so to again achieve accredited status for all three solutions is impressive.
ADVANCE managing director Shaun Critchley said:
This is the perfect start to 2018 for us.
FCSA accreditation is rightly seen as the gold standard of compliance in our sector, so to receive this seal of approval for all solutions is a real source of pride.
Based in Chester, ADVANCE supports contractors and recruitment businesses in a wide range of sectors including engineering, construction, IT, healthcare, life sciences and education.
Turnover for 2016-17 was £64.6m, up 13% from £57.1m the previous year – the company’s seventh consecutive year of revenue growth since its launch in 2010.
ADVANCE’s next FCSA compliance assessment is due in January 2019.
